Game Fixes and Settings

Stuttering-Weather-Changes-Fix

Go to Seasondata > Circuits..AIW-file.
Open this with notepad, scroll down !!

RainyDarkness=(0.45000,0.05000) // Overcast light value, monsoon light value

Change it to this: RainyDarkness=(1.00000,1.00000) //(0.45000,0.05000) // Overcast light value, monsoon light value

You have to do this for every circuit.

No Intro-Video

Go to your F1C movies folder and rename your EA Intro.bik to EA Intro.bik.old

Display-Settings:(getting that extra FPS you want)

Circuit detail: Changing this from full to high gives extra FPS.

Player vehicle detail: Best leave this on full.

Vehicle lightning effects: High is very nice, but if you want that extra FPS.. set it as low as possible.

Shadows: Best keep it on high, otherwise it looks like the vehicles are flying in the air.

Other vehicles detail: Best on high, and visible vehicles in your PLR-file set on 12.
(when you change this setting in F1C..the visible vehicles in your PLR-file change with it too)

Image quality: Keep it on full, less don't give extra FPS.

Special effects: Full or medium can make a huge difference in FPS..its your choice.

Pitcrew-animations: When you want to see only your own Pitcrew, medium will do.
(full can give stutters when you come near the Pits..it save some FPS too)

TV-cockpit is nice, but using the normal-cockpit-view can give 10 FPS extra.(without HUD)

A little tweak in your PLR-file: Skybox positioning: make it 1.00000

Max visible cars 12 or 14 (to get extra FPS)

Also the Resolution (Monitor) can make a big difference in FPS !!!!

Using 1024x768 with 2xFSAA can look real nice already.
